The problem we are working on
Most financial fraud is resolved — or lost — in the minutes around a single decision: whether to send the money, whether to trust the caller, whether to act on the message. The people closest to that moment are consumers and the mobile money agents serving them. They usually have the least support.
Ghana first
Maya Shield, AgentShield and Maya FinCrime are preparing for evidence-led field validation in Ghana with consumers, active MoMo agents and the institutions that serve them. Fieldwork and real-participant onboarding have not yet begun. This describes the intended validation population—not current usage. These three solutions have no live provider connections.
Evidence before accusation
A report is not a verdict. Community volume alone does not prove fraud, and one anonymous report must never become a damaging public accusation. Maya keeps raw reports and adjudicated intelligence distinct, requires corroboration and provenance, expires stale signals, and routes consequential decisions through human review.

Strengthening the system, not replacing it
Providers, financial institutions, regulators and law enforcement hold authority Maya does not have and should not claim. Maya does not block payments, reverse transactions or make legal determinations. It helps people reach the right authority faster, with their evidence organised and their next step clear.
One core, several experiences
Maya Shield serves consumers, AgentShield serves MoMo agents and Maya FinCrime serves institutions. Maya Cyber, Maya AppSec, Maya Workforce and Maya Executive are designed for security teams, software teams, talent programs and leadership offices. Where each part of Maya stands
Maya Cyber provides admin-gated, read-only production visibility into authorized Microsoft Defender data. Maya Executive operates under a restricted controlled production pilot with human approval and evidence-backed auditability. Maya AppSec remains in Preview/Lab validation. Maya Workforce, Maya Shield, AgentShield and Maya FinCrime remain controlled demonstrations while their respective live-data, integration, validation and pilot-readiness gates continue.
